How we handle what you send us

This website is hosted on servers YourColo operates. It does not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics services, third-party fonts or third-party scripts.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form we receive the details you enter: name, company, work email, phone, your topic and your message. Our server also records the time of the request, your IP address and your browser type, which we use only to prevent abuse.

When you request the security checklist we receive your name, company, work email and what you are preparing for, along with the same time, IP address and browser details. We use them to send the request to our team, who may follow up with you once. We never share or sell them.

Website analytics

We measure how the site is used with Matomo, an analytics application that runs on YourColo's own server. It does not set cookies. It records pages viewed, how you arrived at the site, your browser and device type, and whether a form was submitted or the checklist was downloaded. Your IP address is shortened before it is stored, so it cannot identify you, and detailed visit records are deleted after 180 days. Nothing you type into a form is sent to analytics. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we do not record your visit at all.

Where your form submissions go

Your submission travels over an encrypted connection to our web server, which passes it to an automated workflow in YourColo's own Microsoft Azure environment. That workflow delivers it to our team's mailbox in YourColo's Microsoft 365 tenant. It is not sent to any marketing platform or outside service.

How we use it

We use your details to answer your request. We do not sell, rent or share them. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
